ATS (Automatic Test System) Print

Pragma Engineering srl designs and realises ATE systems for military, industrial and consumer devices. The adoption of parallel and/or distributed hardware architectures and the optimised employment of hardware resources allows to obtain high performance and cost effective solutions.

Design - Device characteristics (UUT) and test specifications (ATP) are analysed in order to identify required hardware and software resources and to define the best test flow (test optimisation).

Hardware platforms used on systems realisation:

  • PXI architectures as acquisition and control units using standard or realtime OS;
  • Distributed I/O architectures with master-slave communication with or without embedded real-time controller;
  • Standard instruments interfacing and control via GPIB/IEEE488 interface;
  • Signal conditioning and switching systems based on SCXI™ / PXI architecture or with custom hardware.

Software tools used on systems realisation:

  • LabView™ and LabWindows/CVI™ for control procedure, man machine interface, instrument drivers and algorithm implementation on real-time platforms;
  • TestStand™ for high end test systems with on-line and/or distributed production testing;
